Wildflower Meadows 2021

Labour locally are invested in biodiversity, enhancing green spaces and creating a clean, green and safe place to live.

The Cabinet Member for Environment, Cllr. Sue Jones extended the first Wild Flower meadows in South Ribble.

Sue said; ‘Wildflowers are absolutely vital for our ecosystem; providing pollinators such as bees and butterflies and other insects with food, shelter and places to breed. They also play an important role in winter as a source of food for birds and small mammals’.

This is the first year it will be trialled and the locations are as follows
