Councillors Will Adams, James Flannery and Keith Martin from Penwortham as well as the Cabinet were all involved in the production of the BBC programme Freddie’s Field of Dreams which aired in July. The BBC show featured the refurbishment of Vernon Carus and highlighted the importance of investing in community sporting facilities and the benefit to our young people. The Labour led council are supporting our communities across South Ribble and this show illustrated fantastically a hugely positive impact work like this has on everyone. Another project delivered!
