South Ribble Borough Council win Senior Management Team of the Year Award

South Ribble Council’s journey from underperformance to becoming an exemplary model of change has been long, challenging, and multifaceted. Equally, it has allowed the council to better position itself to meet the increasing challenges facing the public sector. Labour Council Leader Paul Foster said “A huge amount of work has been done over the last couple of years to get over the problems the organisation has had in the past”, and noted the positive feedback from the Peer Review Challenge showed that the council is ‘well on the way’. Resident satisfaction on the way the council is run has increased from 67% to 75% between 2020 and 2021 and overall satisfaction with the borough as a place to live also increased from 82% in 2020 to 85% in 2021. This is all positive news for the residents of South Ribble.
