Leyland Festival is back… and it’s on a Thursday

This year’s Leyland Festival will form a part of the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations and will take place on Worden Park on Thursday 2nd June.

Martin Carlin, the Chair of the Leyland Festival Committee said “After a two year, we want to come back with a bang! Plans are well and truly underway for the biggest & best Leyland festival for years.

There’ll be live music from 80s & 90s soul legend Kenny Thomas and a brand new event; the Worden Motor Village. There’ll be a Queen’s Jubilee Garden with a 4 Piece orchestra, food & drinks stalls, kiddies play area, a dog show & much much more.

Entry to the park will be FREE thanks to the generosity of South Ribble council and I’d like to thank them helping make it all happen.”

Your Labour Council decided to step forward and provide free entry as a part of our contribution to the celebrations of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. With Music in the Park the day after, it’s promising to be a really special weekend.
