Thank you to the Central Lancashire Deaf Children’s Society who provided a variety of engaging activities and information hubs for parents and children alike. While our emergency services played an active role, Cllr. Wharton-Hardman arrived in a ‘First Responder’ vehicle – sirens from all vehicles featuring periodically throughout the day! Our Story Tellers were Lynn, Alison, Susie and Megan (Youth Mayor), who beautifully positioned before a glorious wildflower bed, delivered a range of exciting stories accompanied by Emma our BSL Interpreter. In the first 90 minutes, over 150 lunch bags were handed out to local people to enjoy in the sun. A big thank you to all who made the inclusivity event a success. We look forward to 2023 when we welcome more children to a stunning Farington Park. Jacky
