Battle of Bamber Bridge 24th June 1943 – Memorial

Cllr Chris Lomax along with other members of Leyland and Farington Community Hub attended the unveiling of the memorial garden opposite the Ye Olde Hob Inn in Bamber Bridge to remember the fatal shooting of a black US Soldier during racial violence in Lancashire in Worl War II.
