In Bamber Bridge, two brand new 3G pitches and a brand new energy efficient pavilion have been delivered. The pitches are suitable for football and rugby and the pavilion houses four new team changing rooms, with showers and disability access as well as changing rooms for officials. It also has a social room and kitchen and there are storage facilities across the site. in the Borough. With 244 football teams already existing across South Ribble – 48 adult teams, 60 youth teams and 136 mini-mixed teams – there simply wasn’t enough space. This new site will alleviate over-use in other parts of the Borough.
